Dr. Drake Williams at Oct. 30 OA Fall Meeting

Dr. H. Drake Williams, III will be the guest speaker at the fall meeting of the Ohio Association on Wednesday, October 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Lodi. Drake has served for 13 years as the Minister of Theology and Mission at the Central Schwenkfelder Church in Lansdale, PA, where he was baptized, ordained, and sent out as a missionary. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).

His missionary travels took him to teach in Belgium, Netherlands, Romania, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and India. He and his wife Andrea also served in various capacities in Dutch churches during their mission time. Besides his work at Central, Drake continues to serve as Hoofddocent Nieuwe Testament at Evangelische Theologische Faculteit in Leuven, Belgium and as a missionary with European Christian Mission (North America), Inc.

Drake will be presenting on the history of Ukraine with current updates. His comments will include the ministry of the Zaproizhzhya Bible Seminary, which continues to train Christian leaders 20 miles from the front.

Refreshments will be available beginning at 9:30. Lunch will be provided by the church; free will offerings will be accepted.
