Our CCCC Ohio Association Spring Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 9:30AM-1PM at First Congregational Church, 114 Church St., Lodi Ohio 44254.
During our Winter Banquet, our speaker for the evening, Rev. Dr. Kyle Boone, stimulated our thinking on how we might more effectively minister to our youth and young adults when we only have a few attending.
Our thought is to follow-up on that subject during our spring meeting time to discuss with Kyle how we are presently ministering and what steps we might take to make our ministry more effective. It will be sort of a workshop or discussion time together. Kyle did his doctoral thesis at Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM, DMin) on rural and small town ministry.
Kyle has pastored at Hambden Congregational Church for seven years. He previously pastored as a youth minister in Dallas, TX. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM, DMin) with a doctoral emphasis on rural and small town ministry. He has been a guest lecturer primarily on the topics of youth ministry and domestic abuse. He is married to Kaitlynn, and together they have four wonderful children with one on the way!
Many of our congregations are short of young families and only have a few youth and young adults. Kyle has many creative ideas on how to minister to the few. You won’t want to miss this informative gathering.
