Worship: We gathered together in worship.

Devotions: Rev. Pat Street led us in a devotion entitled “Top Ten God’s Coaching Tips”

Morning Fellowship

Jeff Griffith opened the morning sharing and prayer time by introducing the “Half Day of Prayer and Vision” chart which TEAM missionaries are required to do every six months. Jeff testified that it has been a great blessing for him.

Then pastors and lay leaders provided ministry and personal updates. Following each update prayer was offered for the individuals and their churches.

Lunch: A fantastic meal was provided by our friends at Salem Evangelical!

Treasurer’s Report- Dave Lippert gave the balance for the Ohio CCCC. It is slightly over $1,300.

Announcements– John Hood reminded us of our Ohio website http://ccccohio.org that Phil Ross keeps updated. It contains meeting information as well as excellent articles and provides opportunity to comment and dialog with each other. Check it out and subscribe to it. It is free.

  1. Vote on Secretary Position

  • Ryan Hobbs was nominated and seconded as secretary. The motion was carried.

  1. Winter Banquet
  • John presented the question of whether or not to have a winter banquet. Following a discussion it was decided to try a winter banquet pending registration. The executive committee will determine the details and decide if there is sufficient response to proceed with the banquet.

  1. Spring Meeting
  • It was suggested to shelf the Spring meeting in lieu of the Conference planning meeting on the 26th of April in Lodi. The executive committee will make a final decision.
  1. Mission Reports & Updates
  • Jeff Griffith mentioned a cross cultural mission opportunity teaching English in the Czech Republic. If anyone is interested contact Jeff Griffin. His email is griffith@teamczech.org.

  1. Church Planting in Ohio/Salem’s School of Ministry

  • Ryan Hobbs shared on the church plant in Delaware, Ohio. They have an opportunity to have a full-time campus minister at Ohio Wesleyan University if they can raise the funds, as well as other opportunities on the campus.

  • Salem School of Ministry is currently on hiatus. However, it hopes to continue next year.

  1. Update CCCC 2011 Annual Conference in Cleveland

  • The local arrangements meeting is scheduled for April 26th at Lodi First Congregational Church from 10 am to 4 pm.
  1. Comprehensive Stewardship Campaign

  • The 5-year Sharing His Vision continues. Steve Carmany and John Hood have spoken with ten congregations about this campaign. These visits will continue into the new year to contact Ohio congregations not yet approached. David Dake will also make some visits.

  • Steve also talked about the developing vision for the conference “seeing our churches coming shoulder to shoulder to accomplish our mission.”

  1. Ohio Representative Report– Steve Carmany
  • Steve had no other business beyond the Comprehensive Stewardship Campaign update.

  1. Other Old & New Business

  • Ken Gerhardt at the Pittsfield Church is preparing his congregation for his retirement in the near future.

  • Jones Road pulpit is open. Pray that God would provide both churches with the right new leadership.

  • Dave Lippert gave an update on the ministry committee. He discussed the need for a full-time Conference Minister to Ministers.

  • Dave also asked for suggestions on using the funds in the Ohio Association CCCC for ministry purposes. The executive committee will discuss the issue for a final decision on giving the funds to church planting or missions.
