We had a great Family Annual Meeting at the Signature Country Club in Solon, OH. Now we need to follow-up the challenge at our Ohio Fall meeting and pray together concerning God’s vision for us as an Association here in Ohio and how we can work together.

David Kimberly has opened his church facilities to us at Faith Community Church, Massilon 10am-2pm, Saturday, October 29. Gather for coffee at 9:30. In the morning David Kimberly will lead us in worship followed by discussion and more prayer for our churches and ministry here in Ohio. The Conference goal is 50% of our churches being healthy and reproducing new church plants by 2020. I would like to see that 100%. So we will begin by praying for such a vision that God has given us which is the first of seven key outcomes: Developing a culture of believing prayer and intercession.

The other keys include:

  • Healthy Pastors
  • Healthy Disciple Making Churches
  • Healthy Church Multiplication
  • A Community that Lives Out a Shared Life & Shared Mission
  • A Culture of Peacemaking & Reconciliation
  • A Membership Reflective of the Harvest Field’s Diversity

At our meeting lets pray about and discuss how we can assist one another and our churches in this vision. I think this vision is 101 Christianity that we have all known and desired, but I am not sure that we have focused on these keys. Hopefully we can do so now and together work with the Lord in accomplishing his mighty work through us here in Ohio.

After lunch we will take any action needed from the morning discussion and prayer, and conduct our other business like election of officers, deciding about the winter banquet and spring meeting, updating Ryan Hobbs’ new church plant in Delaware, etc.

Please get this information in your newsletters and encourage your leaders and any interested to attend.

Blessings,

John
